Maravanthe Beach
Situated along with Sauparnika River on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other with a mountainous background of the Kodachadri Hills is this small town Maravahthe which is about 50 Kms from Udupi. The Beach here in this town is famous for its endless stretch of golden sand, swaying palm trees & clear blue sky for which major tourists get attracted for.
At sunset, a crimson sky and golden rays reflected both in the sea and the river which makes Maravanthe beautiful scenic.
Another attraction of this beach is St.Mary's Island which lies north of the port of Malpe which 7 kms form Udupi .

By Air : Mangalore is the nearest airport which is about 110 Kms.
By Rail : Kundapur is the nearest railway station which is just about 18 Kms.
By Road : from Udupi 50 Kms, 130 Kms from Gokarna, & 275 Kms from goa.
