Birla Mandir : This modern & magnificent temple built of white marble (2000 tons of Rajasthan pure white marble) on top of a hill is located in Hyderabad near Hussain sagar. This temple is built in a 13 acres plot by the Birla group, is dedicated to lord venkateshwara.
The granite idol of lord venkteswara here is about 11 ft tall & the brass flagstaff which raises to a height of 42 ft is the main attraction here.
