Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary: is Located in Palamaner which is about 120 Kms from Bangalore & 50 Kms from Chittor. This park spreads to an area of 358 Sq Kms.

Tourists can find a wide variety of animals like Cheetal, Four horned Antelope, Sambhar, Mouse Deer, Hare, Porcupine, Wild boar, Jungle Cat, Jackal, Sloth Bear, Panther, Jungle Fowl, Peafowl's and Elephants.

Bird watching, jeep safaris, elephant rides will take the tourists in the interiors from where the tourists can spot the animals in their respective habitats.

To stay overnight, Forest guest house at Palamaneru, Madanapalli and Horseley Hills are avialable.

The best time to visit the Kaundinya sanctuary is from the month of October to May.
