Mahaveer Harina Vanathali National Park: is Located at a distance of 20 Kms from hyderabad city was established in 1975 to commemoration of 2500th Birth anniversary of Lord Mahaveer so its name.
The ‘deer park’ is set up to preserve the heritage and make a rehabilitation center for the animals. This national park is the also the homeland for animals like Monitor lizards, Mongooses, Porcupines, Snakes and Horses. The floras like Neem, Butea, Bauhinias, Accacias and many thorny shrubs increase the richness of vegetation of the national park.
Timings: remains open from 9 am and 5.30 pm.
