Dubare Elephant Camp was setup by Karnataka Forest Department for traning Department Elephants. Dubare is located on the banks of River Cauvery in Coorg or Kodagu District of karnataka at a distance of 230 Kms from Bangalore & 75 Kms from Mysore.

Dubare Elephant Camp is an important tourist spot. Dubare offers to its Tourists the fun, fishing, rafting and trekking.
The Elephants for the famous Mysore Dassehra were trained at Dubare elephant camp.
Sighting of wild Asiatic elephants are regular and so is spotting the sambhar and the spotted deer. Tiger, leopard, wild dogs, gaur and bears are also seen in these forests. The Indian Bison or Gaur and bears are also seen in these forests. Crocodiles can be seen in river.
How To Get There
By Road
From Kadamba Bus stand across the Patto / Qurrent creek 7-8 minutes walk at the entrance of the city on the bank of Mandvi River, from where regular buses ply to the sanctuary.
