About Rajasthan
Rajasthan the land of maharajas and rich cultural heritage. This is the largest State of india in tearms of area. This state was formed on 30th March 1949 and is located in northern part of India.
Jaipur being the captial city for Rajasthan & the language Rajasthani the official language.
The State is bounded by punjab State in the North, pakistan to the west, Gujarat to the soutwest, madhya pradesh to souteast & haryana to norheast. The State is divided in to 32 Districts.

Major Cities of Rajasthan
Jaipur - The capital city of the state and also popularly known as the Pink City
Jaisalmer - Also known as The Golden City, Which contains palaces & several ornate jain temples.
Udaipur - Also known as City of Lakes.
Jodhpur -The second largest city of Rajasthan and also known as The Sun City for bright & sunny weather
Amber -
Alwar -was formerly the capital of the princely state of Alwar or Ulwar of British during India rule.
Churu - It is known as gateway to the thar desert of Rajasthan.
Ajmer -
Air transport
Jaipur is the main airport to enter Rajasthan. Serviced by all the domestic airlines of India, Jaipur has connections to Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur, Aurangabad, Jodhpur and few more cities in India. Other major airports are in Udaipur and Jodhpur.
Rail transport
Rajasthan is connected thru Train Transport to and from all major cities in india operated by Indian Railways.

Rajasthan has excellent road network connecting all major cites like Mumbai, delhi, Nagpur, poona Etc.
