Vaishali
a small city in Bihar State located on the left bank of the Gandak river. Vaishali village is surrounded by banana, rice fields and mango groves. Vaishali derives its name from King Vishal (son of Ikshwaku queen Alambusha) belonging to the Mahabharata. The city was also known as Visala.
