Dharamsala is located in northern india on the foot of Dhauladhar and has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills.
Dharamsala was Founded by the British between 1815 and 1847. Dharmashala is located at a distance of 478 Kms from New Delhi.
Today Dharmshala is a popular tourist destination, especially in the summer time, there are many popular tourist destinations in Dharamsala, the most well know being Triund Hill. Known as the "Jewel of Dharamsala", the hill is located 9 kms from McLeod Ganj and is located in its upper reaches.
