Alappuzha / Alleppey Beach : Alappuzha beach also known as Alleppey beach is one of the most popular spots in the district of Alappuzha which is 85 Kms from Kochi. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is around 140 years old. It has a long sandy beach. For the entertainment of visitors there is a Vijaya Beach Park and an old lighthouse nearby.
