Kemmangundi Hill Station

This hill station is situated to about 55 Kms north of Chikmagalur & 285 Kms from Bangalore on Baba Budan range of hills at an height of 1,434 Mts above the sea level. This hill station is also called as K R Hills which was a favourite summer camp for King Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV.

This hills has a Raj Bhavan with beautiful rose garden & one can enjoy a good view of sunset from here. About 8 Kms from this hill is Hebbe falls sourrounded by a dense forest which falls from an height of 250 Ft. another water falls called Kalhatti Falls is just about 10 Kms from the same hill.

There is a place called Z-point at about 10minutes walk from this main place which gives a nice ariel view of the grass lands of the Western Ghats.
